Kendala Dalam Implementasi Kewenangan Kerapatan Adat Nagari (KAN) Berdasarkan Peraturan Wali Kota Padang Nomor 50 Tahun 2020 di Nagari Pauah Nan IX Kota Padang

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the authority of KAN Kerapatan Adat Nagari based on Mayor of Padang Regulation Number 50 of 2020 concerning Customary Institutions which is a policy that contains various rules related to customary institutions in Nagari Government in Minangkabau Customary Culture.In this study the authors used a qualitative approach where the researcher would describe and describe in the form of sentences the data that the authors obtained from observations, document studies and interviews. The results of the study prove that there are still several obstacles that affect the implementation of the authority of KAN Pauah Nan IX, obstacles such as the lack of community participation in channeling customary law aspirations, the occurrence of errors in oversight of existing customs and culture violated by the sons and nephews of the nagari against the preservation of customs and culture which has been slow to implement due to factors such as the strong currents of globalization which have eroded Minangkabau customs and culture.
