Abstract

This study aims to analyze the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of the implementation of the strategy of the Padang Pariaman Regency Fisheries Service in increasing the income of fishery products in Nagari Kayu Tanam. This research uses this type of research. Selection of informants using purpsosive sampling technique. Collecting data in this study through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that there are several supporting factors such as support from other agencies/institutions as well as non-official visits to increase motivation and inhibiting factors in implementing the strategy of the Padang Pariaman District Fisheries Service, namely human resources, the Fisheries Service budget, indicators of income levels not yet available, capital, and poklahsar ability in processing and marketing is low.
