STRATEGI PERENCANAAN PENGEMBANGAN WISATA DANAU TARUSAN KAMANG DI NAGARI KAMANG MUDIAK KABUPATEN AGAM

Abstract

This article aims to describe research findings on how the planning strategy will be carried out by the Nagari Government in the development of Lake Tarusan Kamang Tourism in Nagari Kamang Mudiak. This research uses a qualitative research type. The location of this research is Nagari Kamang Mudiak, Kamang Magek District, Agam Regency. The informants in this study consisted of 8 people. The selection of informants in the study used a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation, and documentation study. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation. While the data analysis technique is carried out using SWOT. The results of this study indicate that the development planning strategy that will be carried out by the Nagari Government together with the Manager has been planned quite well although there are still some obstacles and need to be optimized in the future. The development planning carried out by the Nagari Government together with the manager is still limited to promotion by maximizing the use of social media and holding an annual event at Lake Tarusan Kamang by introducing the culture that exists in Nagari Kamang Mudiak. Meanwhile, in determining this development plan, there are supporting factors in planning the development of Lake Tarusan Kamang, namely this tour has natural potential such as its natural beauty and cultural potential. While the inhibiting factors in planning this development are the lack of community participation, the lack of government development priorities, the lack of cooperation with investors and the limited facilities and infrastructure.
