Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Persepsi Masyarakat Tentang Implementasi Kebijakan Pemda Kabupaten Solok Tentang Pengelolaan Sampah di Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti

Abstract

This study aims to examine the public's views regarding the implementation of waste
management policies by the Solok Regency government in Lembah Gumanti District as contained
in Article 20 of the Regional Regulation of Solok Regency No 7 of 2018 Waste Management,
which includes sorting activities in the form of grouping, collection in the form of taking and
transferring, transportation, processing in the form of changing the characteristics of waste, final
processing of garbage. This research was prepared using a qualitative approach and a case study
approach. The system is qualitative and descriptive, and research informants are determined
using purposive sampling. As for the results of the study, it shows that people's perceptions about
the implementation of the Solok Regency government policy regarding waste management in
Lembah Gumanti District can be seen through 3 indicators, namely (1) stimulus or stimulation
(2) registration (3) interpretation. Thus the results of this study The people in the Lembah
Gumanti sub-district feel that the waste management implemented by the government is
ineffective because waste segregation is not carried out properly, the waste collection and
transport system is weak, the problem of waste piling up and the wrong environment. The
community also complains about inadequate disposal containers, low participation in paying
waste fees, and suboptimal perceptions of the government's waste management program.
